Linked Table Manager Continues To Be A Problem After 835519

The Linked Table Manager does not display currently linked tables. I followed
the recommendation from the KB article 835519 and I get the error
"LoadLibrary("C:program Files\MicrosoftOffice\Office2003\OFFICE\acwiz.dll")
failed - The specified module could not be found."

I checked it three differant times to be sure I didn't pull a "bear paws"
mistake. Then I uninstalled Office 2003 and re-installed only to get the same
issues and the same results from attempting the recommended "fix".

How can I get past this since we have a number of legacy applications in
Access '97 and Access XP that rely heavily on Linked Tables. I don;t know if
anyone has mentioned that the following registry value that the article says
to examine is not there.

Hi Wayne,

1) Is this

C:program Files\MicrosoftOffice\Office2003\OFFICE\acwiz.dll

the exact path shown in the error message or is it the result of
careless typing? There's no "\" after the "C:", the folder names are
unusual, and the file name is wrong. On my Office 2003 installation, for
instance, it's

C:\Program Files\Office 2003\OFFICE11\accwiz.dll

2) Either way, is there a version 11.x accwiz.dll in that location on
your computer? If there is, re-register it.

If not, I'd try the following:
- find the correct accwiz.dll and re-register that
- search the registry for any entries containing the incorrect path and
replace it with the correct one.

Thanks for pointing out the missing text in the KB article. I've passed
that on and it should eventually be fixed.

The registry key in question is

HKey_Classes_Root\TypeLib\{5B87B6F0-17C8-11D0-AD41-00A0C90DC8D9}\8.0\0\win32\(Default)
