Link Values in Database to Word Document Template

Hi,

I am trying to produce a document template whose values can be updated from
values in a series of database tables.

For instance, I want the text in the document to read "9450 records were
reported" based on the number of records contained within a particular table
in the database. It would be great if I could automate something like this.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks, Ruben.

From my experience, it is easiest to create a query in Access that will
return the information you need in a single query. Then use the Word
Mailmerge functionality to link to that query and insert the fields you need
into the appropriate places in the document.
