Link to specific powerpoint slide

Is there a way to hyperlink an Excel cell to a specific slide in a
powerpoint presentation ?
Suggestions are much appreciated.

ben,

create the hyperlink to the file in the usual way. let's say the link is
like this:

C:\Murthy\GM\CMD Presentation\For RBI.ppt

if you want to link to say - slide no.10 specifically, add #10 to the end of
the above file description. now, the link will look like this

C:\Murthy\GM\CMD Presentation\For RBI.ppt#10

Thank you for the info regarding linking a microsoft excel cell to
particular powerpoint slide .

Once we have acess to the slide, how do we return to the excel fil
without closing the powerpoint program?
