Is there a way to connect to a pdf file that is stored outside the db? I
want to connect to it and have it print with cutepdf to a temp file that I
can save other documents in to email all at once.

This pdf is on your computer, going to be on your computer, or is accessible
via a network connection?

If so you should be able to connect to it via some method such as ODBC if
it's networked.
