"Link Tables..." Option Greyed Out

I am trying to link an access project to a database, but the option to "Link
Tables" is greyed out. Does anyone have any suggestions how to make this
active? (This is on Access 2003).

Hi,
maybe you are looking at the wrong place. I think you are trying to bring up
the linked table manager which manages the paths of linked tables. Since you
do not have any linked object yet this will be grayed out. To link tables you
have to go to file...get external data...link tables...after you went through
that the link table manager will not be grayed out anymore and you will be
able to update the path if needed.

I actually just figured it out. When I created a new db, I chose the
incorrect option.
