Dear all,

I want to use the access to make some queries and report from SQL server
data. If I don't use ODBC & .adp. How can I do ?

Thank you.

I not sure I understand your question?

I not aware of how else you can connect to sql server, except using linked
tables, be they in a ADP project, or a standard mdb with linked tables.

Even more perplexing, is why would linked tables be any type of problem
here?

as a basic answer to your question, I don't really see any alternatives to
linked tables to sql server. I suppose you could export some data from sql
server in a format that ms-access could use, but then you would not be
connecting to sql server...would you?
