Link Cell to cell in different file

I have 2 x files, i.e. "1.xls" & "2.xls". I want cell C3 in the file 1.xls to
reflect the data that I have entered in cell C3 of the file 2.xls. How do I
do this?

1) Open BOTH WB.
2) In cell C3 of WB1 type = [equal sign] > with your mouse(!) move to WB2 >
CLICK on cell C3 and Press Enter.
