A member of another forum(Toms Hardware) has posted this
message. Here's the details: it's a new hdd and he has no
other installation of a windows product on it. During the
setup he gets that msg mostly but sometimes it goes to the
nxt step " 3rd party scsi raid" etc. He tried changeing
the hdd, optical drive, mobo and even used another xp pro
disk. The general consensus has been that he has a
hardware problem but I think that the file can't be read
from the disk as he is too early in the setup process and
the bios boots clean. Does anyone have any ideas?
