Lightscribe

Anyone used Lightscribe successfully? I've just burned an audio file onto a Verbatim gold Lightscribe disc and it will only play on my PC and my aftermarket Sony car CD player. Used Lightscribe Label maker to burn it. Anyone know why it won't play on "domestic" CD players/HiFi's? It just sounds like it's searching for a minute or so then gives up. Wanted to use Lightscribe as it was a gift for someone and I could put their name and song title on the disc without using those sticky labels.

I've made a few dozen Lightscribe audio CD's and had no problems at all.

I've only ever used text though, never could master graphics.

I was using Nero Lite V8.0 I think as software and I didn't find it very easy to use at all.

As a result Lightscribe, for me, was a bit of a passing fad, haven't used it in at least a coupla years now.
