Hi Ame,
1. Is it allowed to deploy the final XP Emb image on a hard disk at the
client place?

These are legal questions, but it is allowable to provide client with recovery medium that can reimage his installation. So
basically it is possible to do what you want.
2. Do I need Client Access license (CAL) If I deploy a image on the server
and boot the clients using the "Remote boot option" in the Xp Emb.

You will probably need COA sticker to each device. For CAL I do not know.
3. Is it possible to use MS Office with XP Emb. I understand that the image
will be huge but does Microsoft allow this?

No, It is forbidden. But you can use viewers for reading files.

Slobodan

Ame, did you get any further with this as these are the questions I am hoping
to get answered too.

At present I am thinking a Per Server licence and not CAL for my Server >
XPe. Still want to know the legals on this one. I see some people on this
group are using it as thin-client PC (i guess they are terminal servicing to
the server)

Is this thing about fixed IP true? XPe is really designed as "ask DHCP
server for one"

As I understand it Ame, a person who is made a "3rd Party installer" in the
agreement can deploy your custom software on the system that the 'client'
creates with the Developer suite which is licensed to the client.
