These are the LFW versions I have listed on the ACF program pages.
Additions? Corrections?

Need to update Regmagik info:
<http://www.pricelesswarehome.org/acf/programs/0623-n.htm>

Just noticed Regmagik <http://users.aol.com/bguzner/software/> have
gone shareware. LFW is 3.26.6 I think. Anyone have a download link
for the LFW? (tried a quick - but not thorough - search now, and found
d/l links pointed to latest version)

All the best,
Bjorn Simonsen

Thanks Susan (and Coffee it is :)

Found 3.26.4 here. Have not installed this download,
but looked at version number in file properties:
<http://www.midida.com/ftp/ShowFtpFile.do?idfile=148094457>

The version, time, size, date, all of it looks to be consistent
with that freeware release.

Additionally, I notice that the author has not yet removed the
version 3.23 from his site. (I use both versions.)
http://members.aol.com/BGuzner/software/rm.setup.exe

The thing is, one cannot expect either of these URLs to hold out.
I mean, for instance, that the midida.com link, it points to a
Winsite mirror that is probably just behind in updating...
<ftp://147.162.100.7/pub2/winsite/win95/sysutil/RegMagikInstall.exe>
The author is using Winsite as the central point for distributing
his now-shareware release. So I expect that, in time, all Winsite
mirrors will cease to carry the older release. (Unless I misunderstand
how Winsite works.)
Hope some among our LFW/rare-ware friends here in acf reads this
and will grabs a copy and upload to their site :)

I hope this too. Yes, it is not a mainstream popular type of app --
a professional registry editor such as this. But for those of us who
are into these things, this is a very valuable program. It would
be a loss to see it vanish off the surface of the web. Please to one
of the rareware houses: consider taking this little animal under
protection.

For anyone wanting a quick copy of just the exec, without installer,
I've done an upload.

This is only temporary, momentary. (It's on a free server. I'll
probably delete the files one of the next times I get around to
interacting with that server.)

Regmagik, standalone exec, without installer

http://omega5.port5.com/files/2004/regm/regmagik323.zip 54k; ver 3.23
http://omega5.port5.com/files/2004/regm/regmagik326.zip 212k; ver 3.26.4

Note on the exe in regmagik323.zip. I UPX'd this for fun, to show off how
small its file size could be. To restore to normal, run "UPX -d" command.

.. . . .
To uninstall Regmagik

Delete its pair of filetype keys.

[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.s2r]
[-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\RegMagic.Shortcut]

Delete the user preferences key.

[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Boris Consulting] ver 3.23
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Guzner Consulting] ver 3.26

For version 3.26, also delete its .ini from the windir. (The .ini file
will have the same name as the executable, so if you've renamed the
executable, look for an .ini with the name you chose.)

del %windir%\regmagik.ini
