Legality of remote access

I am using XP home and would like to access my computer remotely from another
windows XP computer (with its own license, of course). I am the only user of
the computer (both locally and remotely). Is this allowed by the EULA (
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/sp2/homeeula.mspx ) ?

In the section regarding connections from other devices:
"This Section 1.3 does not grant you rights to access a Workstation Computer
Session from any Device."

This doesn't prohibit remote access, but it also clearly doesn't allow it
(and "Microsoft reserves all rights not expressly granted to you in this
EULA.")

In the section regarding Remote Assistance/NetMeeting:
"This EULA does not include a license to use Microsoft Remote Desktop
technologies (or other software which provides similar functionality for a
similar purpose) to access a Workstation Computer Session from any Device.
Those technologies are available for license with Windows XP Professional
Edition."

Is this simply stating that remote access software is not included (and
hence, licensed) with XP home, or is it explicitly disallowing use of any
remote access software like PCAnywhere/VNC/etc.?

Thanks in advance,
Matthew

I have never heard of anyone being prosecuted for using UltraVNC (as an
example) to remotely access/control an XP box. Since I am not a lawyer that
is the best I can say other than to say I read that as saying you can't
manipulate the XP Home OS to include Terminal Server which you need to do to
access/control a PC using Remote Desktop. Note that Remote Desktop is
included as client only software on a XP Home machine.
