LegacyExchangeDN showing in AutoComplete list

We have some users who have changed their last names. I have renamed the
accounts and changed the display names. In terms of the name being correct,
it is. However, in the autocomplete list the item in brackets shows the old
username, for example it will show "Jane Smith<jdoe>"

I can't find this in the Users and Computers mmc anywhere so I used ADSIEdit
and I see it under the LegacyExchangeDN and I'm guessing this is where it is
pulling it from. Is it ok to edit that value in ADSIEdit and if not, how can
I change it?

This happens after you delete the entry and it recreates it, it isn't an
invalid/old autocomplete entry, it can be brand new and even in a brand new
NK2 file.

Thanks

You might have better luck posting this in an Exchange group.
Microsoft.public.exchange.admin would be the place I would start.
