leading 0 on zip code dropped in excel

How do I keep the 0 on a zip code in excel or acually
saving as a csv file so that I can import it into UPS
shipping?

Assuming that you are hand-keying these zip codes, just
put an apostrophe (') in front of the zip code. That will
keep the 0 in the front and it shouldn't present a problem
when uploading into the UPC software.

I am not hand keying. I have exported the file from an
accounting package that is used in UNIX. Is there a way
to ad an apostrophe and the zeros so that all the data in
the zip field is formated as zip code when you look at it
in the formula bar? The formula bar showes without zeros
even after formatting with zeros.

How about just formatting the cell(s) as Zip (or Zip+4).

They'll look pretty on the worksheet -- not quite so in the formula bar.
