>> LDBView.exe and Vista

Hi the LDBView utility can be very useful to know who else has a database
open when you want to open this database exclusively. I have installed it on
my PC that has WinXP in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32.

A person that has upgraded to Vista would like to install LDBView on her PC.
Does the System32 folder have the same path as in WinXP?

Many thanks
Jonathan

Hi, Jonathan.
A person that has upgraded to Vista would like to install LDBView on her
PC.
Does the System32 folder have the same path as in WinXP?

You'll probably get a faster answer to a Windows Vista question if you post
it in the Windows Vista newsgroups. This newsgroup is intended for fast
answers to Microsoft Access database programming questions. Most of us who
answer questions in this newsgroup on Sunday evenings don't have Vista
installed yet.

There is no reason to put in the System32 folder a file that is only
going to be used by one app. Putting it in the same folder as your
app is the easiest solution, seems to me.
