LCISOCreator problem

I really like this little program as it does exactly what I want to do
- create an ISO image from a CD/DVD with no futzing around.

It worked fine for ages but unfortunately for no apparent reason it's
just stopped working. The program opens, it lets you specify a
directory to save the image to, then it just creates a zero-size ISO
file with the name you specified and does nothing else.

Anybody got any ideas? I've downloaded the most recent version and it
does the same thing so I assume it's not the program.

I'm running XP Pro (SP1) with a Celeron 2.4 processor and 1 gig RAM.

Alternatively, is there a similar (free) program?

Thanks.

It could be that a file it depends on is broken, or there's another program
that is incompatible with it. Have you tried it in safe mode, and in
"normal" boot after closing all of the programs off?

Although it could be any number of DLLs that it depends on are broken, you
could try replacing/restoring from a backup:

MFC42U.DLL
MSVCP60.DLL
MSVCRT.DLL
COMDLG32.DLL

....as they're more likely to be replaced by other programs' installs.

You could try installing SP2 as well - it's got a truckload of fixes and I
/expect/ would replace the above DLLs with more recent versions.

I've got version 1.1.0.0 and can email it over for you to try if you'd like.
