LCD without mode change alerts?

Anybody know of an LCD monitor that lets you disable alerts for its
mode change?

I upgraded to a 21" LCD and DVI KVM. The trouble is, everytime I
switch systems, or when a system's video sleeps, or going into
standby, hibernate, etc, the LCD pops up an alert telling me it going
into sleep mode, or analog mode, or digital -- You might think this is
not a big deal, but it sorta is.

Mac users don't put up with this, do they? Does an iMac or Mac Mini
using a Cinema Display popup annoying notices every time it's turned
on or off, or goes to sleep?

I had done extensive research to find a 1680x1050 that would display
lower resolutions such as 1024x768 unstretched, has DVI-D + HD15 VGA
inputs. I chose a Philips 200W6, but it auto switches inputs when not
wanted (and takes 8 menu button pushes to manually switch back between
analog and digital inputs), and has popup mode change notices that
can't be disabled (fine for testing but they quickly become annoying).
(BTW, my setup is with an analog/digital DVI-I KVM, with output split
into DVI-D & VGA into dual input monitor (digital+analog), so I can
feed both DVI and VGA sources).

Does the Apple 20" or 23" display do VGA? (I assume it doesn't have
popup mode change alerts)

Anyone know if the Sony PremierPro SDM-P234 or LG L203WTX fit this
bill?
+ Dual inputs (DVI-D, HD15 VGA)
+ Defeat mode change notice,
+ Enable/disable auto switching inputs,
+ Quick input select,
+ 1:1 native (non-stretched) resolution mode,

Thanks in advance for comments.

Nope.

That's a rather silly response, given that the popup comes from
the monitor, not the computer. Not all Mac users have Apple
displays.

But you'd admit that "iMac or Mac mini using a Cimema Display" refers
only to Apple displays, yes? ;)

Frankly, I don't know why non-Apple manufacturers don't build in the
ability to disable this notice. I mean, in regular use it's just a
nuisance -- if you're experiencing a problem then by all means
re-enable this feature. The majority of CRTs don't blink up mode
change notices! Why should LCDs?

I'm not crazy about Apple's 'Aqua' window manager, or the underlying
BSD feature set; but otherwise, such as noise and this monitor issue
I've brought up, Apple has very nicely designed ergonomics.

.... and that's how most Apples users think, why Apple sells
computers today long after the world of desktop publishing
moved to PCs.

Does it do it with any mode change or just any change out of the
native res? I cant remember but my Viewsonic has a thing where it
warns you not using native res isnt that great. You can turn it off in
the LCD menu. Cant remember if there are any other warnings though.
