My computer has a problem starting up very slow. I defragged the hard drive,
removed cookies, ran spy-bot, and adaware, yet to my astonishment nothing
changed! So I took the next step and reviewed the event viewer and it shows
that I am having two errors come up on a regular basis as follows:
The Application Layer Gateway Service service failed to start due to the
following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely
fashion.

Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for the Application Layer Gateway
Service service to connect.

I am not a computer genius by any means, but this error was in the system
part of the event viewer and have no clue how to fix these errors. If there
