Hi gang,

I tried to install the very latest Windows Rights
Management update several times. The problem is that it
doesn't install. Examination of the application events
log gives and error code of 11722 for the MsiInstaller.
Double clicking there gives this message:

Product: Windows Rights Management client -- Error 1722.
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A
program run as part of the setup did not finish as
expected. Contact your support personnel or package
vendor. Action _803A8EC3_4F2F_4C31_8039_E1B8874327F8,
location: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSI2C.tmp, command:

For more information, see Help and Support Center at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I have no idea what is wrong with this installer package.
So if anyone out there, MS in particular, knows anything
about this, please lend a helping hand!

Many thanks,
Johnny.

I think it has something to do with the file names in the update. For some
reason, it is being seen as a virus & is being stopped. The reason I suspect
this is that my roadrunner mail sent me a letter stating that a suspected
virus was detected & program not installed & the body of that message shows
a pic of the microsoft update page.
