African Oystercatcher. Not quite the same as our oystercatcher, somewhat bigger.

attachment.php

This is a Korhaan, about 20 inches high.

attachment.php

Marabou Stork. He is really big, about 2 feet 6 inches to 3 feet tall.

attachment.php

Spurfowl, about 15 inches tall.

attachment.php

Tawny Eagle. Not seen in UK but is found in parts of Eastern Europe. About 2 feet tall.

attachment.php

The Hadeda Ibis, so named because it makes the sound "Ha-di-da". About 18 inches tall. Drying his wing in the sunshine.

Hope the non-ornithologists haven't been too bored with the collection of birds. :D

Wonderful photos Niv :thumb: I think the Korhaan is my favourite, I love his slightly grumpy expression  But they are all very interesting to see. Thank you for sharing with us, it has been very enjoyable (wish there were more to come.) :D

Add a few slices of crumbed stale bread (not mouldy) to the mince mixture..This will help bind the meat together...:thumb::thumb:
