last name and suffix backwards

I have imported an address book with many people that have M.D. as their
suffix. Outlook sorts them by the suffix, instead of the last name. It is
because there is a comma before the suffix. Is there a way to change this
around so I can sort by last name, but still have the suffix appear with the
name?
