Laptop unable to switch to batery power!

for quite some time im having a laptop w/ XP Pro Sp2 running without beeing
able to switch to DC battery power, does anyone had the same problem.

when i take the plug of the ac adapter the machine simply run's out of
power!

sometimes it works and sometimes doens't 99% of the time. battery checked to
be100% charged!

Will it start on battery power without the charger being plugged in to the

Talk to your notebook manufacturer. This has nothing to do with the
XP OS. You are asking in the wrong place.
