laptop keeps restarting

when i switch on my laptop it starts off as normal then before it is about to
show the log on menu the screen goes blue less than 1 second turns off and
starts again as normal and keeps repeating the process.

The date and time was 11/7/2008 8:37 AM, and on a whim, Lil B 9408
pounded out on the keyboard:

Hi B,

On restart, press F8 repeatedly until you get a menu, then first try
Last Known Good Configuration. See if that helps. If not, repeat the
above but select Safe Mode and see if Windows will load. It will look
bad because the proper video drivers aren't loading, but that will be a
start.
