Laptop and Desktop, same emails

How do I get the same emails on my laptop that I have on my desktop?

Currently I leave messages on my ISP forever (or as long as I can) and just
redownload everything when I get onto my laptop...

This creates its own issues and I would love to avoid this method.

So what are the options to have synced Outlook between desktop and laptop?

Have another email account. Create a rule on your desktop to forward a copy
to this account then retrieve that account on your laptop

It won't synchronise outgoing mails, but might do what you need.
