Language Bar

I am working on WinXP Pro. Whenever I log on to my computer & the
Desktop loads, I always find the 'Language Bar' icons on the Taskbar.
How do I avoid it when the Desktop loads?

Of course, I can right-click the Taskbar, navigate to the 'Toolbars'
menu & uncheck 'Language Bar' but I want to avoid doing it manually
everytime the Desktop loads. This might be a petty issue but I find it
highly irritating.

Go to Control Panel, select "Regional and Language Options". Select the Languages tab, then the Details button. Click the Language Bar button, take the checkmark out of "Show additional Language bar..." checkbox.
