Labels

Has anyone used Word to create labels for an art show? Sizes up to 2x4.
Perhaps using Avery 10 or 20 to a page.

I wasn't clear. I want to make descriptive labels for a group of paintings,
each one different. How do I find a template on which I can type these
different descriptions and then print it on avery label paper?

Tools | Letters and Mailings | Envelopes and Labels. On the Labels tab,
click Options... In the Label Options dialog, select the appropriate Avery
stock number and click OK. Back in the Labels dialog, click New Document.
This will give you a sheet of labels you can type on. They are set up as a
table, so be sure you have table gridlines displayed (Table | Show
Gridlines) so you can see the label boundaries.

Thanks so much, Suzanne. Sorry to be dumb about this, but how do I continue
generating gridded pages in the same document after I fill one page? Or do I
have to go through the procedure for each page?

For Avery 5161/8161 (20 labels) or 5163/8163 (10 labels), you should be able
to just tab out of the last row on the page and keep creating new rows.
Where this won't work is with label types that have "spacer" rows between
the label rows.

Just press tab in the last cell on the page and keep on pressing it when you
get to the end of each row that it adds.

Hope this helps.
