Labels on chart won't show

Hello

I am having a problem with chart labels not showing up in a
presentation i am working on. However when my collegue opens it on his
mac they do. Also if i insert a new chart onto a new presentation it is
fine. And if i copy and paste that chart into my presentation it is
fine momentarily until it updates the colour scheme.

I am in the process of setting up templates with a specific style (eg.
fonts, colours etc) and have been messing around with the settings a
bit. But really not sure what i have done! It really is a case of me
muddling through and working out the best way of setting up templates
for our company to use so I may have made a critical mistake early
on...

Have tried turning off quarts text smoothing, changing the font and
colour but nothing seems to work.

If some one could help me I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Kate

It sounds to me as if your presentation color scheme might need to be
adjusted. If the colors for the chart area (or slide background) and the
color you're using for the data labels are the same, it could cause this
issue. You'd need to look at the slide color scheme colors, because charts
inherit their colors from the slide color scheme.

Here's some reading for you about charts and color schemes.
http://www.echosvoice.com/colorschemes.htm Hm. I didn't include data labels
there, but they seem to use "swatch 2 -- text and lines."

Hello

Thanks for that. I did try but it didn't make any difference. Your
suggestion did lead me to messing around with the fonts a bit more
though, and i think i have cracked it. I tried a few random fonts and
some show up! I suppose that some of my fonts aren't properly activated
for 0SX. I will have a look at that now...
