Labeling Photos

Let me start my question by giving compliment that I find Story 3 great for
creation of photo slide / presentations. However I am stumped and need to
ask this question.

I named all of my photos with Adobe Photoshop and spent alot of time naming
864 photos. Is there anyway that I can use those names as my labels in Story
3 or do I have to label my Story 3 projects from scratch.

I would appreciate a response either positve or negative and then at least I
will know what I have to do.
Thanks

File names cannot be used as labels in PhotoStory.

If you wish to add the titles to the face of the
images before importing into PhotoStory...
the following free software can do that in a batch.

FastStone Image Viewer
http://www.faststone.org/FSViewerDetail.htm

How to:

"Basic steps to add text to image files
using Fast Stone Image Viewer"

Tools / Batch Convert / Batch Convert tab...

Check the box...Use advanced options...

Advanced Options button / Text tab /
Check the box...Use Text...

Open the drop window..."Insert a Variable"
choose...File Name / Without Extension...OK...

Add the files you wish to append...

Choose an Output Format...

Choose an Output folder...

Click the Start button...

(You'll have to experiment with position and font
size and color to achive the result you desire.)
