Label printer malfunction

Hello, I'm in process of buying used "Carl Valentin Spectra 108/12" thermal
label printer. Problem is that machine refuses to work, when I send print
job, 2-3 labels are printed and then he stop's and "ERROR 9, NO LABEL
FOUND" appears on printers's LCD. Cleaning of label sensor didn't help. Any
expirience with similar machines or problems?Thank you. :)
