Knowledge Base Article Request

I hope that someone can help me with this request. I
have posted here because this seems like the closest
match for my question. I know that there is a way to
send an email to Microsoft to request a knowledge base
article to be sent to my inbox. I believe that I put the
article ID number in the subject line, and the article is
automatically sent. But it has been a while since I have
done that, and I don't remember the email address to send
the request to. Can anyone help?

Microsoft had such a facility but did away with it a couple of years ago.

You acn however search for a KB article (and Technet, Google, MSN, etc...)
by number from the Internet Explorer Address Bar. You'll need to modify you
registry for that. For more info see;

It is a shame that Microsoft did away with that service.
It sure was handy, especially when there were various
articles that dealt with a problem. Thanks for your
replies.

We use an event sink in an Exchange public folder to fetch the articles.
Send a blank message to (e-mail address removed) with the KB# in the subject field
and as long as your mail server doesn't reject the message, you'll have a
copy in your mailbox within minutes.
