knlwrap.exe???

Hi all,

Sorry if this in the wrong forum. I have recently had a virus report on the
file;
knlwrap.exe (Program Files/common Files/installshield etc.)

The report I get back is as a Dropper.Agent.JOC.

I have found this with AVG but two systems I use with Symantec on (one and
enterprise Virus checker) doesn't report any problems.

Does anyone know if this IS a false positive or what I can to do verify the
integrity of this file?

best regards,

bon

Send the file to Virus Total. They will submit it to numerous antivirus
companies and send you a report.

It cropped up on several of our computers this am...I believe it's a false
positive. My reasearch shows it could be a file related to Roxio Easy CD
Creator 5.

I'm sending a copy to AVG.

Thanks Tom, I have sent a copy of the file to AVG as well. I believe it to
be a false positive as well. But AVG is still reporting problems after I
quarantined the file.
(I'm now running with Sys restore off and in Safe mode to check it out.)

regards,

bon
