my key board is not typing letters so I can not enter my pass word to get
into my system. I have tried several keyboards that work on other systems.
I have tried a wireless key board to the usb port but not letters are comming
up yet. the sleep function works sot the keyboard is hot.

When was the last time the keyboard DID worK. Have you tried a
System Restore to about a day or so before the problem started?
Go to: Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

usb to usb is connected correctly some of the functions work on the key
board but not the typing.

The key board worked before I put a password to upon my desktop. Now I can
not do a system restore because I can not log in from the welcome screen
