Keyboard recommendations, please

K

Kate

I have been searching on the `net for a keyboard where the finger
pressure required to activate the keys can be adjusted, but all that
is being returned are ergonomic keyboards. Does anyone know if such a
keyboard exists, please? I have checked in Control Panel/Keyboard and
it appears that my present keyboard cannot be adjusted, although a
keyboard I had years ago could be, but I cannot remember what make it
was or how it was done.

Thank you
Kate

I would contact the manufacturers,
perhaps you need to install a program that
besides to install the driver, permits to you
some additional configurations.

hope this helps, Carlos.

This is in a speciality market and your may need to contact your local
community disabled person organizations. These organizations may have
such a keyboard to recommend.

to be precise, if I didnt write correctly,
manufacturers several times, give
program installers instead of only the drivers.
Then it permits to you to have more things
than only drivers.

Thanks to you and xcal for replying. My present keyboard is a very
basic model by ORtek. A search on their website for the model number
came up zero for all categories, although it is only four years old.
I think I shall contact the computer engineer who built my first
system and ask if he can remember which keyboard he supplied then, or
if he installed additional software to get the facility I would like.
Failing that, as you suggested, I could try an Arthritis Forum or such
like.

Thanks again
Kate
