Keyboard Problem

The numbers at the top of the top of the main keyboard
area suddenly stopped working.
The 'home', 'end', 'inset', left 'ctrl' and left 'alt'
keys are also non functional. Only the '2' and '0' keys
are working. All the other keys seem to work fine.

When I type the number three key this comes out: 2323232
and the number four key: 42424242

The rest of the keys mentioned above don't work at all.

I have scanned my computer for viruses using Norton and
returned nothing.

Please help.

Check the keyboard in the control panel, look for disabled
keys. Check in device manager for trouble with the kybd.

Borrow or buy another keyboard to try, keyboards are cheap
and get damaged by heavy fingered typists and dirt.
