Keyboard lighting MOD help needed.

Ive got a Logitech MX Duo Wireless keyboard. And i want to light it up
when i turn the lights off. Sick of not being able to see the keys
when the lights go out.

Thing is not sure how to do it. I know ive got plenty of space to put
some glow rope sunder the casing. But not sure i i would need some
clear fluresent paint on the keys as well.

Or i could go UV. But i would need a UV light of some kind on the
keyboard. I just dont knwo the best appoach.

I have room to put a 12volt battery on the keyboard. Ive read about
live wire or EL Wire. Might give that a try if i can get some in
Australia.

Any help wouuld be great.

Iam getting some Furesent blue paint today so ill do some testing on
some stuff and see how bright that is.

Why mod the keyboard when pre-modded ones are available, backlit in blue,
relatively cheap? Look up Zippy EL-715 (I'm using it now, it's awesome!)
or there are others made by saitek, eluminx, logisys, logitech, probably
many others I'm not aware of. Just run a search on any shopping search
engine for keyboards backlit keyboard. -Dave

Which one of those is Wiireless. I love my MX Duo and don't want no
other.

OH, in that case . . . Why not get a TV tuner card with remote sensor, and
any good learning-capable remote with backlight? No doubt having the full
keyboard is handy. I'd bet you could access most functions with a universal
remote control, though. Then it wouldn't matter so much that the keyboard
is not backlit. -Dave

But i also use the TV to play games and everything esle as well

My longeroom is now my PC computer room as well
