Hi I just bought a new computer recently and I have being using it for 3
weeks already however just few days ago i happen to found out that when I am
in a middle of an application suddenly there is a few beeping sound and then
my keyboard and mouse stop working completely. While my optical mouse still
has light my keyboard lights went out. I tried switching to another keyboard
but it is still not responding. The application is still running but only my
keyboard and mouse cease funtioning. I have no choice but to restart it and
after doing that I was able to use them again. I was wondering will it happen
the next time and when it happen what should I do to prevent them? I am using
window xp and both my mouse and keyboard are not USB.

The beeping sound you here are BIOS error beep codes.
Find the brand of BIOS your PC has (Award/Phoenix, Etc.)
If you are not sure on how to locate the BIOS information
download and install Belarc Advisor.

Belarc Advisor:
http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

Run Belarc and located on the right hand side
is a section titled: "Main Circuit Board"
look for an entry similar to:
"BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG"
or BIOS: Award .....

The google:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&....00+PG+beep+codes&btnG=Google+Search&aq=f&oq=

In the list of you should find code (long/short beep sequence) that matches
what you heard when your keyboard/mouse problem occurred.

New computer "recently" sounds like you need to go back to the manufacturer
for an explanation of the beeps. Should still be under warranty.

Errr does that mean after downloading the software it helps to identify what
does the beeping sound means? or does it search for all the error and display
them as beeping sound for me to go and look them up to know what they means?
Thanks in advanced!
