key board symbols

the keys on my keyboard have mucked up for example for the ? key i cant get
the other symbol on it even though i usually just push it down without using
shift and use shift to get the ? symbol as u can see i cant get fullstop
either> also my capslock and loweer case has switch e>g with light on im
getting lowercase any help??? thanks

If the problem occurs in all applications, then provided Windows regional
settings are correct for your keyboard, it appears you have a defective
keyboard. See if you can borrow another to test.

Ok just 2 let any one know that gets this problem i unplugged the keyboard
and then connected again and noticed it would work normally untill i pushed
capslock and then went all funny again and the numlock light would come on to
so i unplugged again then connected and i held down caps lock and numlock
together fixed the problem .

Capslock isn't supposed to affect non-letter keys, so it sounds like
something is going wrong with your keyboard and you should probably
get a new one. (I suppose you could try simply unscrewing the case and
blowing out all the dust and dirt, in case it's just an intermittent
short, but if something spilled on it, damage might have been done to
a circuit board.)
