Kernal Data Inpage Error

This started yesterday about an hour after the computer was turned on. After the error the computer would not boot, said no operating system found. After being off for about 5 hours I turned the computer back on and the system booted. I copied to the network what I wanted to save off that computer and then left it on. It was 5:00 so I went home. This morning, the blue screen error Kernal Data Inpage Error was on the screen. Anyone seen this before? Any Ideas on what it might be

Thank you for your tim

Sounds like a harddrive going bad based on the "no operating system found".
Make sure you have everything backed up and either replace the disk or
running it till it fails.

This is often a hardware problem (disk or something
related).

Look in the Windows System event log to see if you can
find errors there. Note: Sometimes severe errors are
logged only as warnings; look at all the events you think
could be relevant.
