Keep losing my custom views!

I use custom views in the task folder. For some reason,
these custom views keep disappearing. I can not find a
pattern as to when/why they disappear, except that they
are lost between logins.

When I first login at the beginning of the day and first
click on the Task icon to open the folder, my last used
custom view will still be in the window. However, it
disappears from the "current view" drop down and radio-
button lists. If I change the view, I can not get the
custom one back.

When my custom view is up, I have tried going to
"define views" and copying the current view to a new one,
but the resulting view is based on the default "detail
task" and looks nothing like my view. I've also tried
saving the views using all options (private, public,
both). Yesterday, I tried exporting my office settings
when the custom views were there, then today when they
disappeared I tried importing it back. The views were
still gone.

Is this an issue with a fix? Is there a way to export the
custom views so when they are lost again I can import
them back?

Notes: I am on a corporate exchange server. I synch to a
Palm. However; I never had these problems using OL 2002
when on same server and using same PDA.

Are you using a roaming profile, and if so, have you checked your system
event logs for userenv (profile) errors?

No, our profiles are all local. Plus, my profile has full
local admin rights on it.
