keep being asked if i wish to debug web pages

when i follow a link on a web page, i get an error message which occurs
about 50% of the time.

it says - a runtime error has occurred. do you wish to debug
line: x
error: unterminated string constant
OR
error: object expected & various other error messages

anyone know what is wrong please?

Did you try the Repair function in Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs for
IE?
