KB828940 issue - please help!

Hello,
I am facing problem described in KB828940(Wireless Client Cannot
Reconnect to a Wireless Access Point). My problem is that I have a OEM
windows provided with my laptop so I am not allow to have charge free
support. The Microsoft confirmed that it is their issue so I cannot
see any reason to pay for support just to receive a patch. Could
someone help me with this issue? Is it possible to download it from
somewhere or could someone just sent me this patch?

This particular hotfix is only available via Microsoft Support. You really
only have two options here:

1. Get the hotfix from Microsoft directly
2. Wait for Service Pack 2, due on or around August 5th, and see if that
resolves your problem.

Given that you are just a couple of weeks away from SP2, it may be worth
waiting for and seeing if that provides the needed resolution.
