KB article (Q832138) - Slow windows form loading

M

mphanke

Hi,

I can't find this article in the knowledge base anymore. But it seems it
contains the fix I'm looking for. Can somebody post it here??

The problem is the designer loads my main window form extremly slow -
meaning it can take up to 3 mins until I can continue working. Same
thing happens when I try to load a VC++ project.

If somebady has any suggestions how to resolve this I would be very glad!

Best regards,

Martin

I searched the online KB, the Oct 2001 and July 2004 MSDN libraries and
google. If the article number is was ever good, I think it is gone now.

Don't know. If has to do with using the designer with MC++ you can start a
new thread here.

Thanks for your help so far.

I contacted support in Germany - the funny thing was they asked me what
VS.NET service pack I have installed, but there is non released from
what I could find on the downloads. The technican was a little confused
I guess.

Hope I will get the hotfix ;-)

Many Thanks,

Martin
