KB 277222 and a utility called scrubber

The Microsoft Storage PM responded to a query of mine that I need a utility called scrubber. On seacrhing for it, I get pointed at KB 277222, but "scrubber" must be a hidden keyword.

I need this utility to help clean out HKLM\SYSTEM\MountedDevices. Can anyone point me at where to download or it it has had a name change enforced by the PC community ?

That article is a long shot for
"Windows 2000 could not start because the following file is missing
or corrupt: \WINNT\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM" error message.

Do you really have over 700 LUNs?

If not then there are other alternatives.
If so, I'm sorry to say that I've never heard of "scrubber". I did
see this from a Google search:
http://www.biologic.com.au/download.htm

But have no idea what it does, how safe it is or anything else about
it!

In testing some of the machines have generated over 5000 redundant
entries in the registry. This tool, supposedly available from
Microsoft, is meant to clean them up.
