kazaa does not start

i know this newgroup is specifically for windows and it is a bit awkward to ask a question about kazaa. but i do not know any place where i can ask this kind of question. i recently downloaded kazaa lite. but when i start the program it is stuck. i only see the borders of the screen. and finally i have to "end task" the program. i tried all the versions of kazaa lite from several sources but the problem remains the same. i meanwhile tried Kazaa media Desktop which DID WORK on my pc. but only kazaa lite does not work.

This has happened to a friend of mine too....
if you already have tried uninstalling and reinstalling kazaa lite with no
luck then you can try diet k
that removes all banners and other spyware from the kaza media desktop

Make sure you remove everything referring to the Kazaa Media Desktop
from the registry before attempting to install Kazaa Lite. If
necessary use a spyware cleaner program to get rid of KMD. Once you
remove all the junk KMD installs, Kazaa Lite should work.

You could have a bug ...lite also has many bugs and

Kazaa KLite has no bugs or viruses. The only bugs and viruses that
you'll get from KLite is from illegal downloads and file sharing. But
the same goes for any file sharing program, however, KLite itself is
safe to use unlike the KMD program.

Hi Devang - Even after uninstalling, Kazaa leaves many files containing
parasites behind. Run KaZaaBegone.exe before you try installin the Lite
version. You can find it at
