Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 - when is it available?

I quite fancy trialling Kaspersky anti-virus but have decided to wait
until version 6.0 is available. Does anyone know when 6.0 is due to
come out - it is supposed to be some time in May?

There is a Beta version out, already. I have no experience with any KAV
Beta's, but the usual advice is: "be wary of anything with a prefix in
front of version".

I got wind that Kaspersky will be starting a big promotional effort
today, the 15th. So I expect them to release v6 any moment now,
if they haven't already by the time my post hits the server. OTOH,
the best laid plans oft go astray and for all I know there might be
a delay for some reason.

Have no fear as it has been released today and the beta releases has for
the most part been very very stable.
