Could you please help me with this.

When I try to run the installed program "Karaoke Anything", I get the
message- Class not registered - you
need the following file to be installed on your machine- MSSTDFMT.DLL

I have copied the file msstdfmt.dll to the Windows/system directory.

I am running Windows XP home.

Karaoke Anything! is a freeware program that lets you turn your PC into the
ultimate karaoke machine!

Realtime audio processing allows you to remove the vocals from almost any
song making it perfect for karaoke!

I wrote to the web site and got immediate help. I will copy below what he
said.

You may need to copy this DLL into the system32 folder. I'm not sure on
your system. Please try both. To register it....

Please try this...

1. Open DOS command window
2. type "cd \.\windows\system32" [ENTER]
3. type "regsvr32 MSSTDFMT.DLL" [ENTER]
4. You should get a message that says this operation succeeded.
5. Close the DOS command window. And try KaraokeAnything

If you don't get the succeeded message in #4, check your typing or try the
windows\system folder instead of system 32 folder.

You may or may not have to reboot after this. I'm not sure.

Thanks!
Mark

The winsows\system32 folder worked for me. I didn't know about registering
a DLL file.

Thank you,
