A Logitech G7 mouse.

Available from Komplett for £50.00, I ordered it Tuesday, it arrived Thursday.

Total price £56.00 inc. VAT & postage.

El Linko

It's good and it's very very fast, but I haven't tried it in my favourite online game, CoD2, yet.

This mouse replaced an MX1000 which in turn replaced an MX700, which is now in the 'spare parts' box.

As good as it is, I'm wondering whether £56.00 will show a distinct improvement over the MX1000.

2000dpi against 800dpi says it should, but we shall see, I'll let you know how I get on with it playing CoD2 online.

It really is the best mouse I've ever had though, very nice to use.

But I still feeling a little guilty about the price.

But what the hell, it's Christmas and I deserve it :D (I think...)

Do you think the new mouse makes a big difference? I tried a couple of them today whilst out shopping for bits and bobs, but I'm not used to spending over £10 on one ;)

I've got my eye on the newish Razer Copperhead. Its also 2000dpi like the Logitech G7 and MX1000, but I should think its alot lighter, like the Razer Dimondback.

The thing I dont like about the Logitech mice, is they try and make them to fit your hand, which doesnt go down well with me. I dont have my hand in the position how they would want you to have them on their mice.

Yes, it does. Main thing I've noticed is my aim is a lot more accurate in CoD online.

Still not sure if it's worth the money though ;)

Quite impressive if you actually notice a difference in game!

I was wondering the same Ian, never really thought about a mouse upgrade - is it only applicable to gaming that you see a difference?
