Junk Email

Hello

We are doing some testing with Outlook 2002 and Junk Email enabling.
We have enabled Junk Email filtering for our test user and verified that
JUnk Email is being delievred accordingly.
We can label email delievered to the Inbox as Junk and some email is
delivered to the Junk Email folder.
However, legitimate email which is delivered to the Junk Email folder is
where I get confused. Where is the 'Not Junk' button or option to label the
emaila s not junk?
In Outlook 2003 the 'Not JUnk' button is present.

Thanks,

Mark Clark

That option is not available in Outlook 2002 on my machine. Should it be in
there in this version of Outlook?

There is no way in Outlook 2002 to mark a message "Not Junk". There is no
way in Outlook 2002 to control the junk mail filter at all. The only
control you have is over the Junk Senders and Adult Senders lists. When you
say "we can label email delivered to the Inbox as Junk", just exactly what
do you mean? There is no "This is Junk" button to click. If you see one,
then you have another antijunk application installed on top of Outlook. In
fact, there is no "Junk E-mail" folder in Outlook 2002. The only thing that
the junk filter does is to color the subject lines of messages that the junk
filter identifies. If you see any other behavior, it's not Outlook
producing it.
