Junk E-Mail when it should be good email

I receive a message from a friend and their message automatically goes into
my Junk E-Mail folder. I right click on the email and click on junk email and
click on Add sender to safe list, and domain as safe list as well.

I rebooted the computer and when i receive another email it still goes into
the junk folder, any idea why?

Look in the Tools | Junk e-mail option | Blocked senders and see if they are
still in it.

Nope, there is nothing in there at all, i even clicked on the commands to put
them in the safe sender list. Also for some reason when i send an email to my
shaw account through hotmail it also put's it in the junk mail bin.

i can still read the emails, but it definitely does not like
something....totally weird.

Could be subject lines.

Look at the message properties and see what the headers show.

Alt - ENTER on one of the messahes then look thru the headers

For those who either auto update or don't check there Windows Update
History,
MS just sent out the update codes for: Windows Mail Junk E-mail filter.

Don't know if this update will correct you problems, but .........

I have the same problem. Senders in safe list, not present in blocked list,
and my windows update claims computer is up-to-date, but most mail is still
getting marked as SPAM.

All I can tell you is that I'm not having that problem.
What setting are you using for the Junk E-mail filter?
I use "Low".

Thanks -- I am/was using "low" as well. The only other thing that might be
relevant is that I'm running McAfee security on my machine.

However, this may all be OBE at this point, as this afternoon my Office 2007
arrived (much sooner than expected) and I'm migrating my email to Outlook.
Presumably the problem won't occur there.
