Junk E-Mail filter problem in Outlook 2003

Suddenly, all the junk e-mail that would normally go to the Junk E-Mail
folder is now just dropping into my Inbox. I mean all the junk e-mail. It's
catching nothing. I have it set on Low and it always let some stuff slip
through, but now it is just not working at all. I changed it to High and
exited Outlook, re-opened Outlook and set it back to Low, exited Outlook and
re-opened it and still I get the same behavior. Never seen this one before.
This is Outlook 2003 on WinXP and it's a POP account. Any help would be
appreciated.

Apply any updates recently?

This is a new machine, so after installing from the CD, I got the updates.
But it was running fine for a few days at least, then stopped working. I
don't think I did any updates that would affect it - probably none at all,
though I have MS Update turned on, so it might have installed something. Is
there a way to deconfigure and reconfigure it. I tried turning it off and
back on, but that did not help.

Any add-ins like Blackberry? Consider trying this as well:

I just sat down at the computer after having been away for a few hours and
noticed there were no new e-mails. Strange, I thought. Should have at
least gotten some spam. So I hit Send and Receive to see what I'd get.
Nothing. Then I looked at the Junk E-Mail folder. 82 spam messages! So
suddenly it has decided to start working again. And I haven't made any
changes. I did not know what to do and have been searching around for a
solution, but I made no changes. Obviously, the thing has a mind of its
own. I wonder if it's going to do this for awhile and then go back to not
filtering again!

That happened to me on the last update (not the most recent one, but
the one before that).

I uninstalled the update, rebooted, reinstalled it, rebooted... fine.

I am also having the same problem and it happended after I ran updates on
Friday evening. I do not have restore points enabled so I am unable to go
back and I do not see the updates listed in the add remove programs.

I downloaded the Outlook Spy application and I do not even have a Junk Email
Rule located in the Associated Contents section of my IMAPI folder, obviously
this is the problem. I tried installing Update for Outlook Junk Email Filter
2003 (KB943552) but it said it has already been installed.

I guess my only option is to reinstall Outlook???
